I’m having trouble logging in/the app is acting weird. What do I do?
If you experience some odd behavior, it could be because we’ve put out an update and your phone is caching things for you. It’s a good practice to uninstall the current version of the app and then download and install the latest version from the AppStore or Play store. If that doesn’t fix it, definitely reach out (see above) so we can help you!

How do I know I can trust Sum180’s insights and recommendations?
Sum180’s insights and recommendations are based on the principles of the Alliance of Comprehensive Planners (formerly the Alliance of Cambridge Advisers founded in 1995), fee-only advisors known for having among the highest professional advisory standards in the country. Fee-only advisors conduct their business under a “fiduciary duty” which means, by law, they must have their clients’ best interests at heart. Fee-only advisors have no inherent conflicts of interest because they don’t accept fees or compensation based on product sales.
Sum180’s financial adviser coaches are Certified Financial Planners (CFPs) or the equivalent, with strong tax backgrounds and full members of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), which holds advisors to strict codes of professional and ethical conduct.
Sum180 is a planning firm, not an investment advisor, and, as such, neither Sum180 nor its coaches give investment advice under any circumstances. They provide financial planning and education that considers your whole picture – your savings, debt, house and other assets – so you have a complete understanding of your financial picture as you move toward your goals.
